The BABA Dugout: Bay Area Baseball Association Blog

BABA bloggers must agree to and adhere to the following guidelines before posting on The BABA Dugout blog site.

• Appropriate Age and Relationship: You must be at least 18 years of age to blog and have a relationship to the baseball community.
• Personal Communication: Your posts represent your personal communication and are not the opinion or position of Bay Area Baseball Association (BABA).
• Identity: You must identify yourself with your true name and team or organization name. You should use a disclaimer similar to the following when blogging:

“The opinions expressed in this post are my own and do not necessarily represent Bay Area Baseball Association’s opinion or position.”

• Compliance with Laws: It is important that you comply with all applicable intellectual property laws. Do not infringe upon any third-party’s intellectual property, including copyrighted material and trademarks. Do not engage in illegal activity of any kind using this blog.
• Defamation and Privacy: Do not invade the privacy of others and do not post content that is defamatory, libelous, obscene, vulgar, profane, hateful, or threatening. Ethnic and religious slurs and personal insults are not tolerated and are not allowed.
• Confidential Information: Confidential or sensitive information which is not intended for public distribution should not be posted in this blog.
• Marketing and Advertising: Blog posts intended to sell or market services or products (including, but not limited to tournaments, tryouts, lessons, and fundraisers) cannot be posted in this blog without prior approval of BABA. Very few exceptions are made.
• Moderation and Removal of Posts: BABA reviews all posts prior to publication and reserves the right to remove blog postings or discontinue the privileges of a blogger that BABA determines, at its sole discretion, to be in violation of the BABA Blogging Guidelines or any other BABA policy.
• Good Judgment: Use good judgment when posting online. You are responsible for the content of your post.
