Xi-baseball.com offers hitting/ pitching/ fielding lessons to players of all ages who want to bring their game to the next level. All of our coaches have experience at either the college or professional level.
Hitting- We focus our hitters on staying balanced while getting the most out of their hip rotation. We teach a short compact swing that allows players to wait longer, track the ball and be explosive through contact. Once the swing is mechanically sound, we bring our hitters to the next level by teaching them to properly react to inside and outside pitches. This approach teaches hitters to hit with power to both left and right field.
Pitching- We teach our pitchers to get better rotation and directional force out of their pitch. We do not change the athletes’ natural arm slots. Instead, we teach them how be efficient and mechanically sound with the slot that comes natural. All our pitchers are educated on proper arm care and are given exercises to take home. The students who do their homework see velocity gain and better control in just a few lessons.
Fielding- Most coaches neglect to ever teach position players the proper footwork. When ground ball and fly ball footwork is done correctly, the player gets his throws off quicker and more accurately. Since the player is properly moving through the ball as it is fielded instead of waiting flat-footed on the ball, throws also have better velocity.
Check out our website at Xi-baseball.com for more details. Daytime, evening and week-end times are available.
