My son Zac Liput is looking to play select ball. He is currently 10 years old and will turn 11 in July. He has been playing since he was 4 years old and currently plays NASA Little League. He has been pitching for last 2 years now and has his own personal pitching coach. He was a 9 year old All Star last year and pitched a no hitter in the All Star game against Baytown. This year his pitching has developed further and throws 5 pitches including a curveball. Although he has only been throwing it a few weeks and it is still developing. His top end fastball speed is currently 55 mph. He throws 4 seam FB, 2 seam, FB, Curveball, cutter, and change up. He is gifted with a very good arm, he has some catcher experience, but would like a team to further teach him that position along with developing him to an even higher level as a pitcher. He also has 3B and SS experience plus some 1B. He has not played select ball, and we feel now is the time he takes that step with the bigger field and open bases. He is regarded as the top pitcher in Texas West at NASA. He is a bit inconsistent at the plate, but does have good pop when he gets a hold of one.
