I take it that USSSA is the sanctioning body for this tournament but what are the 8U classification (A, AA or Open)?

All divisions will be Open for this fall tournament.
Nations Baseball is the governing body for this tournament. This tournament will be listed on their site by tomorrow most likely.
For more information on Nations Baseball, see their website at
www.nationsbaseball.com. It is based on the same premise as USSSA, but the organization (roster process, website, leadership, World Series locations) is better. All BABA tournaments and leagues will now be held under their sanction (as will the tournaments and leagues of most directors in this area). More information about this change will be forthcoming in the next few days. Most of the tournaments will be listed after the third of August when we hold our state convention, although there will be a few posted in the next day or so, including this one.
