The Available Players board is for parents and older players only. It is not for teams! Parents and older players use the Available Players board as follows:

  • Find the correct age range for your player, and post in that board only. If your player is willing to play up, don't worry. Teams that accept players that play up will look in boards with younger players, and you can post that your player is willing to play up in your notice that is in the correct age range.
  • Do not post in the Teams Looking for Players forum except to reply to a tryout notice.
  • Ignoring these rules can get you banned from the forum.

Posting in the correct age division
The baseball season starts over each August 1, so a lot of people wonder where they should post their notice when it's getting close to August. Always post in the correct age range for your player, no matter what time of year it is! When the season starts over on August 1, all boards are adjusted (where is says 9U, 11U, and so forth) so that your post will remain in the correct age division. Of course, the birthdates don't change. For example, if your player is an 11U in July, and you post in the 12U board, on August 1, that notice will be in the 13U board.
