In Memory of Jeph

We just want to express our heartfelt condolences to Billy, Janna, and the entire family and extended family of Jephrey Vincent. We are all just heartbroken by his tragic passing. We knew him through baseball, and as part of the close-knit baseball community, we are left with a hole in our hearts.

We will miss him greatly on the field of play. Sean will especially miss him and is having a hard time processing what it means for him to be gone. He never played with Jeph on the same team, but as soon as the umpire called "That's Game" in one of the 14 games he played against him, they were playing together off the field.

We know that his spirit lives on. It lives on in his teammates on the TX Hitmen. It lives on in the many lives he touched in Texas City. It lives on in his extended baseball family in the larger community. And it especially lives on in his loving parents, Billy and Janna, who will always hold him close in their hearts.

We know will all see each other again, on a ballfield, on a field of dreams.
