What is the age cutoff date for the fall season?  My son turned 9 this past March and is currently playing on a USSSA AA 9-year old team.  In the fall season, can he stay on a 9 year old team or does he have to move to the 10 year old level?
Any feedback would be appreciated.

This is a two-part answer, really.

Part 1
The age cutoff is April 30. Whatever age a player is on April 30 determines their baseball age for that season.

Part 2
The season runs from August 1 to July 31, so all players, in fact, entire teams move up in age on August 1.

Part 2 also makes Part 1 confusing because a player might be an actual year older than their baseball age for a couple of months in the season if their birthday falls in the right place.

Your son has to move to 10U.  His age would be considered as of the last day of April 2009.
